Greg and his family and/or other members of his business are posting online classifieds for various items in "new" or "like new" condition - in my case, it was a gooseneck utility trailer which made sense as they are an amusement company and have to move equipment around. Greg then attempted to get me to make an electronic deposit to "hold" the item. Then as I was approaching his business after nearly 6 hours of driving, sent a text saying "sorry, the trailer is sold". He then sent all my calls to a robo answering service. After some checking, I found similar listings for high-ticket items by his Facebook connections on Facebook marketplace. All are items in "like new" condition at prices that a very good and just believable enough to be true.
