Suspicious kitten adoption site on Facebook asked for Venmo payment

Searched Facebook for kittens and came across this site, GoodHomesForAllKittensUSA.com. Looked at the webpage and looked normal at first. I filled out an adoption application for a Maine [censored] kitten I liked. Someone named Mike Jeffery texted me and told me the price with transportation would be $400 that I would pay through Venmo before they sent the kitten. Some of the way the person "spoke" on the texts made me feel like something might be off. I looked up scams on the ScamPulse.com website and other similar situations came up, but with other business names. I looked up the address of the company on google earth and it was an apartment building. Not a place you would have several kittens. I also did an image search on the kitten and found it on another website with a different age. Also, the website for this business had just been created in 2023. I'm upset that they have some of my information. However, I am thankful I figured it all out before I sent any money.
