I rec'd an official-looking mailing indicating that my warranty would expire soon ("TIME SENSITIVE" at the top of the page) and I needed to call them to extend it. A close reading of the mailing shows:

1) No return address, website, or email address - just a toll-free number to call.

2) Letter states "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding your vehicle service contract", which is trying to imply that I have an existing business relationship with them.

3) In the fine print at the bottom, it indicates the policy is through Golden Protection Group - no other information.

These people are out to get the elderly and be careful. To this point I don't know what to do now. They got my CC information and already notified the bank, but still there is no telling if money will come out.
