This is a very underhanded towing company. The company preys on lower income individuals in Detroit by towing vehicles, some of which are parked legally, and charging $360+ from the moment of towing. Goch and Sons states that their business hours do not include weekends, but will tow on the weekends and not allow any owners to pay to retrieve their vehicles, though there is a 24 hour support office. All the while, the company will charge extra fees over weekends so that it's more difficult for lower income drivers to retrieve their vehicles. On site, the staff intentionally lies and makes up reasons for drivers to not be able to retrieve vehicles (such as claiming counterfeit money, claims that cars won't start, etc.). This is for the purpose of adding more fees each day, which can easily surpass $1000+ with the company intentionally not releasing vehicles. Eventually, the vehicles that cannot be claimed will be auctioned for further profit.

In summary, Goch and Sons has underhanded "business" practices that leverages daily fees, and staff that intentionally does not allow retrieval of vehicles, for the end state of auctioning off said vehicles.
