I applied for a job under the name of Ragtime Digital as a customer service representative which conveniently, the listing was removed by the company a day after reaching out. Before I noticed that though, I was invited to join a webinar, which was about 15 minutes long, conducted by a man named “Robert Hughes” whom of which looked legit but now that I think about it could just be a looped video of some sort. In order to be onboarded we were told we’d need to be get our insurance licensing, which seemed like a small investment for the pay which Robert said was 65-82k/year. At the end of the webinar we were told (which consisted of 30 other participants) that if we were qualified for the job we’d get a call from a strange number to set up an interview. I indeed received a call and set up the Zoom Interview. During the interview all seemed well until my interviewer Erin Murray asked me if I had cashapp to deposit the $250 for my insurance licensing since I was “hired”. She requested the money through cashapp. This was my sign so I made an excuse that I couldn’t send it and she offered to sign me up for “squarecash” instead and wanted the credit card info to which i refused to disclose. I was told I wouldn’t be officially hired until I rescheduled the interview which we did but I will be declining and reporting for fraud/scam attempts. Beware.

I applied for a job with Gifted Benefits Providers at the beginning of March on Indeed, and I was promptly contacted directly by Erin Murray for an interview. Before the interview, I read that getting an insurance license in the state of Georgia does have licensing fees associated with it. During the interview, Erin did an excellent job outlining how Gifted Benefits Providers would bring me on, get me licensed, and get me paid while learning invaluable on-the-job skills. That has been exactly my experience so far! Not only was I able to get my license a few days after being hired, but my first paycheck was $900. This company splits the cost of my licensing and training with me, while investing time, energy, and resources into my growth as an agent. I can say my experience training with Robert Hughes has cultivated my growth as an agent and allowed me to make money while learning new skills every day.
