I received this email out of the blue. Lots of warninf flags upon close inspection, but looks very convincing. Well formatted, no obvious spelling errors etc. Product key and order ID are completely fake and made up. The product they are attempting to sell only comes with other scam warning sites.

Received an email telling me my account was to be charged automatically unless I call to dispute

I did not call, as I know I did not make this purchase.

I researched on the internet to see if this might be legit, and the description in this ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker is almost identical to what I received.

I was not scammed

I received an email from GEEK TECH that indicated I ordered some service from them for $299.99. I didn't order tech support or services from any company and believe this is a scam.

My friend from work got a call from her 67 year old mom saying that she got an error message on her pc. It gave her a pop up that said she could not go any further because she had porn on her pc. It said that her pc was infected with a virus as well and that she needed to contact them right away. They said she had to log into both of her pc's so they could remote in and fix the issue. She had no idea that they were not a legit company because she is not technically education on these things. They charged her $200 for the service and took her bank account number and routing number to pay for the "service." Luckily her bank caught the error and closed her online account and put a freeze on it so that they cannot access her funds.

- Muskegon, MI, USA

They (Geek Tech) filled my computer with their programs and made me pay a literal 399 American dollars! They pestered me for their service and did not actually provide any in their supposed five year plan. Do not purchase. They tried to get my bank information and credit cards.
