Social Media Posts...

The target company (Fractal Funding LLC, Andy Peter) posted their services through social media platforms (ie facebook) regarding financial related services. An initial conversation was started through Facebook Messenger and continued through multiple email messages.

Fees For Services...

Through multiple messages, Fractal Funding / Andy Peter clarified that there would be no upfront fees except for an Appraisal Fee for $1,250.00 and that all other fees would be paid after full disbursement of the requested financing. However, requests for additional fees were received including a PMI Fee (1% or $21,808.10) prior to disbursement of financing and Origination Fee (2% or $43,616.20) after disbursement of financing for a Total Fee of 3% or $65,424.30.

Loan Agreement...

I requested a "draft" of the loan agreement and was told by Fractal Funding / Andy Peter that the Appraisal Fee had to be paid before the loan agreement could be provided. Based on the Total Requested Financing ($2,180,810.00), I paid the Appraisal Fee and the loan agreement was provided within approximately twenty four (24) hours. Upon reviewing the loan agreement, several "red flags" appeared regarding grammatical errors (spelling, formatting) as well as Fractal Funding / Andy Peter signing the loan agreement before completing my review. Additional messages were received from Fractal Funding / Andy Peter about signing the loan agreement and paying all fees so that the disbursement of financing could be completed. I became uneasy with moving forward and refused to sign the loan agreement and when the appraisal was not completed was the basis for multiple requests for a refund of $1,250.00.

I applied for a loan to purchase a property and it was approved and funded by Fractal Funding. The company is legit.

The alleged head of this business Scott Krusemark is using a picture of the real Scott Krusemark who confirmed later that this is not him or his company. The are posing as a private money lender that I connected with to do a real estate deal. I paid 1245.00 for the appraisal of the property which never happened. When I confronted via email the fake Scott Krusemark he stopped responding. I got a cash advance off my chase card and wired the money to a chase bank account in New York that Chase confirmed was a "real" account but was under another name. "Scott" said this was his cashier.
