Called thinking it was my cruise company and they said yes after they stated they had to cancel my cruise and do a new one charging me $1400
And requested my credit card not to lose my cabin and special rates pushing to accept because the cruise was full

Scammed by Flight Assist

I thought I was calling Sunwing to reserve my seats before leaving, but it wasn't Sunwing. I asked the agent, Tony Lawson, a few times if I was at Sunwing, he said yes. A big lie right there. He booked me a vacation which I already had. He gave us the wrong itinerary and we missed our flight. He booked us on Air Transat the next day and said no charges, but I was charged. Basically, I payed twice for this vacation with extra charges and spent 4 days there. The whole thing was a nightmare because the agent never told us we wouldn't have any transport to our hotel 2 hours away. We were basically abandoned. I have put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as Flight Assist owes me a lot of money and they hang up on me when I call. The manager said he would call me and never did. Please don't ever call these people as they are thieves and scammers.

Louis Baker from this company lied to me. I thought I was calling Copa Airline to be able to add my Eotional Support Animal as is said at the website. He said I was wrong, the add should be signed up at the moment of booking. So he was canceling my previous trip and would be booking another one and I would be receiving my money back In a few days. Turned out He was lying. He didn't canceled my previous one and charged me on card again. I sent an email and he said that I would receive the money in 3 to 4 billing cycles and each billing cicles take 15 to 21 days. So I opened a dispute on my Bank against this company and neither of the booking had add a ESA. This company is such a SCAM!
They should be on jail.

Flight assist Scam! Stay away from them

I’ve been call to the flight assist for add the middle name on the eva airlines. The guy his name is Derrick lau. Took me $275.80 to correct name & positive the middle name will update on eva airlines website in 24h . But there’s nothing change after 3 day . And can’t connect to him. I’ve to drive up to eva airlines in Lax . The eva airlines agent said . The Flight assist scamming you . & they can not change your name except from eva airlines official office & never contact to the Eva airlines even by the email.

Fraud Company based on my personal Experience

I called Qatar Airways. Without my knowledge, Unfortunately I was re-routed to Flight Assist.
( Even Qatar airways was surprised when I spoke to their officials at Mumbai Airport due to my flight cancellation issues) The man on the other end said Hello and I asked him if this was Qatar airways. He said yes, totally misrepresenting himself.
We have booked 2 tickets from Toronto to Ahmedabad( Ref No: 2X4SNG) for total cost of $ 4250 CAD, split between 2 credit cards. Here is the screen shot of same:

When one of the card was decline while 2 days back, I have checked my statement. Really shocked what they have charged on my credit card, and top of that, all charges are in US $,.
As per current conversion rate, its approximately $6000 CAD instead of $ 4250 CAD
Plus, overuse fee since it has crossed my limit.
Also, while booking, I was specifically emphasised and reconfirm abut 2 checked bag. They have not confirmed in the final ticket. However, when I downloaded Qatar airways app for my online confirmation, I was shocked that it was mentioned only 1 Bag is allowed.
I spent almost a whole day to contact them, without any result.
I can not wait since my mother in law already expired and people are waiting in India for our arrival for last spiritual process, I have no choice than to leave and take the flight.
I tried to contact almost daily and spent more than 2 hours on daily basis for my baggage allowance, nothing has happened. Twice I was promised that they will revert back after listening conversation between me and travel agent, I am still waiting for that day to come.
After all functions are done in India , I tried to contact them for my return booking.
New shock: One way fare for return ticket offered as $ 2350 CAD( just to change the date) , whereas return ticket was cost me $ 2150 CAD. Phone was picked up immediately and responded very quickly in this matter.
I personally sent email to Travel agent( Details Below), but no response. I think He is more busy than Prime minister f UK or president of USA. Therefore, he is not able to reply even after my trip is finished.

Don't fall for the trap, this is a scam! I was searching for EVA airways number in google and the call was diverted to Flight assist, the agent lied that he was from EVA Airways (Agent name Edwin Brown)

and said the name does not match with the passport name so I would not be able to board the flight.

He offered to add the middle name for US $255 and sent me back the same ticket that i had before.

Feeling suspicious i called EVA Airways and they confirmed that there was no change made to the ticket from Flight assist and they were not authorized person to do any changes.

I have been calling flight assist for fraudulent charge but no one picks the call. !DO NOT TRUST THIS TRAVEL AGENT!

He offered to change the name for CAD 1200 but if i do it over the call he offered to reduced it to 375 Dollars and sent me back the same ticket that i had before.

They answer as if they were the real compagnie. Then they tell you the cheapest tickets were already sold out, charging you more (I know that because the actual compagnie helped me by sending me the invoice of what was under my name, Flight Assist had bought the cheapest tichets while telling me only the ones 150$ more were available). They invent some crazy price for your dog (they told me 700$). They don't reserve anything for him. I had to call them several times to get my tickets after buying them. When I realized they didn't reserve for my dog, they told me I could add him now, if I paid 1200$. The real price is around 275$ to go from Canada to Europe, now I know. I called them several times to get my money back. They never did. Now I get my money back with my bank because I paid with credit. But they were absolutly problematic the whole time.

I went online to book a flight with air Canada, somehow without me noticing, I got rerouted to a site called flight assist. They stated they booked my flight and told me they could use my air Canada credit I had. They asked me for the difference, so I paid it as my credit wasn’t much. I still thought I was speaking to air Canada. I eventually got an email but no ticket. I called and called and no reply. I kept calling as I was supposed to fly in a few days. Finally someone answered and I was told that flight wasn’t available but another one for twice the price was. I said no I’m not paying more!!! They said ok we will see what we can do. Again asked for more money. I immediately called my credit card company and disputed the charges. They looked into it and refunded my money. The phone number kept changing when I tried to call looking for my ticket.
