A person on Twitter sent me a private message identifying herself as an international online banking subcontractor; stating that there was an account, belonging to a deceased customer with my name, worth $7 million. The person wanted me to access the account through her, and split the $7 million -60/40 in her favor. She gave me a website to “First Accord Trust Bank” (private online banking). After finding the website to be reported as fake, I questioned them and they stated that it was because they had been hacked recently. They continue to email me, wanting me to pay to transfer the funds or to send personal information to release said funds. They refused to give me verifiable information to show their legitimacy.
