Received an unsolicited letter via postal mail from Fast Filing Services (fastfilingservices.com) demanding $235 for an Annual Report Filing for my Oregon LLC. The letter was designed to look like an official government notice, using formal language and referencing my actual LLC name and registration details (publicly available from the Oregon Secretary of State). The letter implied a filing deadline and consequences for non-compliance, creating false urgency. I paid the $235 by check before realizing this was not from any government agency. The Oregon Secretary of State annual report filing fee is only $100 and can be filed directly. Fast Filing Services is not affiliated with any government entity. This is a deceptive solicitation targeting small business owners using public business registration records.

We paid our State Corporation Commission $150 for three years ending in 2027. Normal SCC fee is $50 a year. Fast Filing Services, located at 701 E Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23219, USA, sent a Mailing to us stressing the urgency to file early to remain active/compliant. They were insisting we send a check to them immediately for $195. This would cover a $145 + State fee for $50.. The letter contained our company name and our SCC Entity ID.. They even warned us they were not associated with Next Step Filing which is doing the same thing - over charging for a service that any company can do for itself less than a third of the charge .. Beware of these Thieves

This company alleges that the annual registration for my LLC, which I paid for last month through my registered agent, is due by 3/27/26. It states, "Avoid costly penalties & keep your business active/compliant - file today!" My business is up to date, my annual report already filed for the year, and it is in good standing. I would like to add that Oregon's annual filing fee for a LLC is $100, not $235. This business is a scam.

2 separate registration forms sent to a home address where the legitimate LLCs registration is headquartered.

threatens that if not filed by date, you run the risk of having your company administratively dissolved.
