I received a notice in the mail for renewal of my Guideposts magazine. I mailed in a check for $59.95 for a 3 year renewal. I sent this check on 11/22/24 and the check cleared my bank on 12/9/24. In the last 2 weeks I then received a notice that my Guideposts subscription had been suspended. When I called Guideposts customer service at 800-932-2145 to inquire about this, they informed me that the only office they have is in Harlan, IA and that they had not received my check. When I have tried calling the Subscription Services in Seldon, NY at 516-676-4300 I get a recording that this number is no longer in service. So I guess I have been scammed $59.95. Just wanted other people to know to not fall for this scam.
