I just recently applied on Indeed for remote jobs and I received an email from Shawn Patterson giving me a link to teams so I downloaded Microsoft teams and started the meeting with him. He then proceeded to ask me some questions and then told me that he will get back with me in a few hours…after about 4 to 5 hours, I received a message from Shawn Patterson on Microsoft teams, saying that they were impressed with my background and education so they will proceed to offer me the job and just wait for the offer letter in the email, the offer letter looks so sketchy with the logo copy pasted, some fake phone numbers and a PO Box for an address. It was also signed by a Kristine Caramella

I search Google because if it’s a legit recruiter, it’s usually there, but Google said that they could not find this email address nor this name of this person so then I found this website and I was right all along. It was a scam.

Received an email from Finerge SA located in Portugal, they had my resume. I had to sign up for Telegram for interview that took 3.25 hours with Paulo Abreu. I was offered the position. They are sending a check to deposit and purchase a laptop with their logo and software. I am to report to them on telegram Monday morning 8:00 AM for further instructions. I am not giving them any of my information! If I do receive a check I would bring it to the bank first, they can find out if it legit and then to the police department if need be.

Scammer approached me with a job offer via text message, where I then had to follow a link to download Microsoft Teams and we communicated there. He claimed to be the hiring manager for Protective Life Insurance and had me answer a bunch of “interview” questions including asking me for my personal address and for my references information as well. I ignorantly, provided the information. It wasn’t until I received the email with my “job information” where I was to provide my name, number and address, followed by my signature, that I realized this was not a legitimate job offer. The email that it was sent from was, [email protected]

If I would've gone any further with the company, they absolutely would've taken my money. Contacted via text message about a job I do not recall applying for. I am in the process of looking for a job however. Asked me to download Microsoft Teams messaging app and continued to speak to me in completely broken English. He conducted an "interview" over this app offering 35/hr for about 10 different entry level positions claiming the medical practice was looking to expand to my area. I googled and did research and found other people being scammed by the same company.
