Beware!!!! This is a SCAM!!!!

In October of 2022, I fell for a “job” offer. I really thought it was legitimate. First off, most companies would not have hired me on the spot, nor would they have done a zoom interview. Second, the scammer told me that the company would pay my “business” credit card balance, and of course, they never did— now my card has been sent to collections, and even the FTC cannot find any proof that this was a scam, but believe me, it is definitely a scam! And I am so angry!

I was contacted by Ivy Yeung at EY-Parthenon to take a survey and was told I would be compensated with a $25 multi-retailer gift card. Once I was at the website, I was told there would be a few questions to see if I qualified for the survey. I answered the typical questions regarding age, location, etc. and then I started answering questions that were very much like an actual survey (had I heard the name of the following movie theaters? which of the following theaters had I visited in the past 12 months, etc.). Once I'd answered a slew of questions about the different types of movie theaters and if I'd heard of them, or when and how often I'd been to them I was told I was not eligible for the survey.

Sorry folks, but that was the survey and I just got scammed into answering their questions for free.
