Type of a scam: Worthless Problem-solving Service Scam

Scam Hotel Booking Service

I thought I was making a reservation with the hotel but somehow I've accidentally booked it through expo-key. They sent me an invoice a day or two before I was supposed to show up to the hotel and said that the full payment was due the day of or that would auto cancelation and keep my deposit as a non-refundable amount. When I had a question about the days I was supposed to book, they didn't respond until the next day and it auto canceled. I asked reservation could get moved to another hotel and they attempted to move it but then when they sent the invoice there was a 30% surcharge on the value of the hotel room but listed as a tax and surcharge line. When I asked a question about it, they didn't respond to the next day and it auto canceled again. Because they only give you a day heads up. If you have any questions about what they're charging it will auto cancel and then they keep your money. It's a total scam business.

This company copies logos and uses the info of attendees, saying they are the official booker for the hotels at the conference, they ask for a deposit for the room, but of course never make the reservation, when you call them for a refund they admit to the mistake and they say there is $50.00 cancellation fee for the booking. It's a total fraudulent scam.
