I am unemployed i applied for a lobby attendant position on indeed, someone called me for a job interview on 2/28/2023 and asked if I can make it to the job interview for 03/01/2023 they texted me the address and whom to see once I got there but for some reason I can't find the texts and I never erased them. I have an android anyways when I got there I saw a man who interviewed me and told me about the contracts they get with big companies such as Verizon's, spectrum and so on , they pay $27.50 hourly starting 10:00 am to 7pm. Mr santino than ask me if I have an osha certificate and if not they can get me to do a class asap so I can fill the position, and all I needed was $400 I said I had the money and is the position guaranteed and when do we do the w2 forms? He exclaimed I needed all proper certification to send to the client and the osha certificate is a must or I can't go into step 2. After I paid him the money, he gave me a receipt blank and asked me to sign and initial. He said once I finish the course send him the information and he'll process my documents. After I finished the class I called the number (347)4800529 it went straight to voicemail and texted saying he's out of the office and he'll call me next day at 3pm, after I realized he didn't call I called no answer, no text. I wrote a text asking for him to reach out to me and left my name and number. No reply I went online trying to get help all they said were i paid for a certificate, I was not able to print the certificate because it's under the wrong name so I can't use it. I texted asking for him to help me because the certificate is useless he said Ishould apologize and to be ashame of my self. I'll upload the receipt and the conversation, in the evening after he cursed me he called from an unknown number and said " *** *** **** ****** *** ****** with the wrong guy I know everything about you, and you need to watch out for your kids and * *** **** **** ****** *** *** **** *********.

So I'm asking for help because this man is terrorizing me because I said I was taking him to court for stealing from me because he can't provide the certificate i paid for nor the job he promised me.
