I was originally contacted by this company for employment on November 30th, 2023. They subsequently conducted two interviews, one with an HR person and one with the Supervisor for the role I was interviewed for. After the interview process, they offered me the job on December 5th, 2023 and sent over additional information( I have forwarded these emails to ********************** ) and was to start in two weeks time. Two weeks later, I then proceeded to speak to Bill Manson ( Supervisor ) on a daily basis to start work. He told me there was an account created in my name where I can make payments to my credit cards and complete my work using my credit cards until the Probation Period ( 2 weeks ) was completed where I would be sent a company card to continue worK. I made payments to my credit cards using the account details provided by Bill so as to make purchases for the company. After I had made these payments ( December 14th ) on my credit cards I was told to complete my first purchasing order. On December 18th, I was emailed directions and a list of items to be purchased from Costco. I purchased these items and the next day was then directed to UPS packing store to have these items packed, then directed to a FedEx shipping store so as to send out these items to their destination using a company account at FedEx( I forwarded examples of these emails with directions to ********************** ). After the first purchasing order had been completed and sent out ( December 19th ), I was directed to pay off the cards and clear the balance on the cards with the same account I had previously paid the cards with. Then I was directed to complete the second purchasing order that was similar to the first. I completed the same process again of purchasing items, boxing, and shipping the items ( December 20th ). I then realized by checking my credit card app that some of the payments had not went thru on my credit cards. I called my credit card company and they told me there had been a hold placed on these payments and asked more details about the bank account used to pay. I told them the situation and they said that it may take 5-7 days for them to clear the payments and to be patient as the holiday season can cause these delays. I reported these occurrences to Bill and he said no problem that we can wait a couple days to for payments to be processed to complete the next orders. The next day I looked at my credit card app and both cards had been put on a restricted status, I called the credit card company to see what the problem was and they told me one of the payments had been stopped by the bank account that had been given to me to make the payments on my cards. They also told me that the payments to the cards had been returned and suspected and fraudulent. I then spoke to Bill about this concern and he gave me directions to speak with the card company and reassure them that these were accounts in my name and that they should be able to process them as normal. The next day, I checked in with Bill at 10am normally and he responded via email. The credit cards were both still in restricted status so then I tried to reach out to Bill to resolve this issue, however I was unable to reach him on both of his numbers. I sent him texts, emails, and voicemails but received no reply( December 27th and 28th ).

All this led me to believe this may have been some sort of fraudulent employment. Total amounts paid and charged on credit card are btw $20k - $40k.

I applied for a job on indeed. I received an email that had no call back number and thought it was weird but still had an over the phone discussion about the position after that i didnt repsond. Then i received 2 texts and a phone call over a week asking if i want to speak with an hr person. I didn't reply. Some Vanessa (i think) called today and explained the posiitn to me but her signal was soo bad i cld hardly hear her. Then i asked what is the structure of this company since you are not a delivery service or a shipment center. Then she hung up.

I blame indeed.
