I thought i was applying for a Job for the Peel District School Board to help children with disabilities, i filled out some information about why i think im a good fit, my location, if I have a bank account, the name and if i know how to use mobile cheque deposit. Once i answered these questions they said it's a secret shoppers job and it's part time but yet will be required to do 2-5 tasks a day. They used the email address [email protected], and sent a copy of a cheque to my email for $990. I am to quote "You are to evaluate any Dollarama, Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart or Freshco stores close to you and make purchases of gift cards items. Your duty is to observe how the cashier attended to you and study the environment what might need to be improve in the store" after i deposit the check to my account and take $150 of it for myself as payment. The name and company on the cheque is completely different and has no affiliates with the Peel District School Board or Job Bank, the cheque has Ontario Power Generation Inc 700 University Ave Toronto ON M5G 1x6. The bank of Nova Scotia Toronto Business Support Centre 44 King Street West, Transit #47656 Toronto ON M5H 1H1. They messaged me from 2 different numbers 647-477-3077 where it says "your first assignment paycheck and instructions have been sent to your email, please confirm you receive it and proceed with the first task. The email claims I am supposed to purchase $800 worth of gift cards and scratch off all the information and take pictures and send it to them in order to help children with disabilities. The other number is 204-396-6430 stating to remember to deposit my money by September 1st. The document i filled out also says it's ScamPulse.com Accredited has some PDSB address 5650 Hurontario St Mississauga ON L5r1c6, then also has government of Canada and [email protected] 647-477-3077 551-256-0074, 180 Bass Pro Mills Dr Concord ontario L4K 0A7. I don't see how any of this has to do with helping children with disabilities and i haven't done anything so they keep emailing me and texting my number to deposit the check, they will email and text but won't actually call me. There are so many discrepancies.
