Correction. My name is not Edwin Nelson or Jaime Herrera, it’s Eric. Those names are possible names of the scammer.

The online gun dealer guns-warehouse.com is fraudulent. In 2020 the scam used the URL firearms-online.com. reportscam.com lists the name Jaime Herrera as the crook behind firearms-online.com. The same phone number was a contact on both sites, for guns-warehouse.com the email [email protected] is used by whomever is behind it. The 616 phone number is in Grand Rapids, MI. The physical address given for guns-warehouse.com is in Houston, TX but no businesses can be found at the address from any other source. If you type in the address in Google Maps, another gun store appears in the street view. Now here comes the con. The website is well designed: popups appear purportedly showing recent orders including internationally. On the pages for items there appears a sort of real time register claiming other orders have been placed in the last 30 mins., hour, etc. It’s all bogus. If you do a search of all firearms, however, you will see most items have the same price and same generous discount. Payment terms are supposedly Google Pay or Venmo, in reality the only ways to pay are Google Pay, cash transfer or crypto currency. I almost got taken for $1210.00, what saved me was Google Pay declined my payment and sent the transaction to manual review. I confronted the person at guns-warehouse.com answering on the Gmail account. No reply. I count that as a blessing and promised myself and our Lord that I would out this scam.
