I received a message from a trustworthy friend on Messenger Regarding a government grant that she was found eligible for and received cash. She did state also that she had to give $1000 in apple gift cards before she could receive her money. She message me that she has checked out this grant and it is legit and I can't go wrong. She sent me the link on Facebook which I clicked the link and came to the site of Edward Saldivar. This grant was called the community service block Grant. I clicked on the link to see if I qualified and was notified by Edward via Messenger you're requesting my name phone number and address. I Message my friend and ask if I should give him this information and she said yes that way he can prove that you qualify. I only lost $600 in this game because I realized that this was not as legit as my friend told me it was. I eventually got a hold of my friend via phone call and she said that she has never heard of this grant and that she'd never encouraged anyone to go for this grant. So not only did they scam me but they also hacked her Messenger account and fraudulently Acted like they were my friend. I really don't want anyone else being taken advantage of. I feel really stupid that I fell for this but at least I didn't give them the $1000 they only got away with 600. I have learned my lesson.
