He approached me as a typical buyer on Facebook Marketplace, everything was smooth sailing, wanted the shipment to go towards the address on N Ave in Doral, Florida. The actual place is a 3rd party shipment company that is legit, but many scammers tend to use the site. He seems to go for higher-value objects such as digital cameras, lenses, and rings. Later, after I caught on to what had happened, he communicated through a fake PayPal e-mail showing that he sent the money and that I also had to 'upgrade' my personal PayPal account to a business account to fully receive the money. The e-mail read along the lines of needing the seller to send $500 and a refund to the buyer which will then complete the transaction and credit the total amount I should have received initially. The moral of the story, if you don't get the payment fully in your account first: Don't send your products.
