Someone claiming to be from a company called ED Legal called me with a reference number to a supposed company called PRG Associates. She claimed to be calling me before serving me. I contacted the company who claimed to be PRG Associates and they said I owed a debt of over $1000. I asked for proof, they sent me a signed contract from over 10 years ago. I told them I was disputing the debt and requested more proof such as payment history to verify balance owed. The guy got upset and said I would be served and my lawyer could file a motion and hung up.
