A man showed up at our house claiming to be from EcoShield Pest Control wanting to tell me about the service they offered for pest control. I listened to his presentation but said I would need to speak with my husband. Against my better judgment I gave him my phone number. He said he would come back later to talk to my husband. He did not return but I did receive a text from their company stating that I had agreed to their plan (which I explicitly told him I was not agreeing to ) and that he would have to speak with my husband. I did not sign any agreement, nor receive any type of paperwork from him nor even a business card. The text from his company stated that I did make some type of agreement and requested me to confirm with a text "yes" and had a link to go to to see the plan I agreed to.

I did not click the link, nor respond in any way to the text. This company better not come to our home, nor do any work in our home or yard, because we did not enter any type of business arrangement with them.

This was the text I received:

1. You signed up for BIMONTHLY treatments. The schedule, pricing, and length of your Service Plan are listed on your agreement, which is stored in the Account section of your customer portal: https://ecoshield.FieldPortals.com/loginc/b8 (I deleted the exact link information for posting here.)

2. If you need to cancel your agreement, we only ask that you pay back the annual commitment discount that you received on your Initial Service.

3. Your Egg Cycle Service will occur 30-45 days after your Initial Service. This treatment is billable, and marks the start of your 100% guarantee. If any of the pests on your agreement bug you between treatments, let us know, and we will come out for a complimentary Touch Up service.
