The company ECHST.NET has been charging my credit card multiple times a month starting November 28, 2021 through October 10,2023. The charges range as low as $47.00 CAD to $96.00 CAD coming to a total of around $2,500 CAD. No authorization was given for these charges, and I do not even know what to do to stop them. I don't even know who this company is or what services they provide. Contacting the website phone number 1-866-452-5108 ECHST.NET always results in a disconnect by hanging up.

I was online doing banking. I noticed a charge of $2.00 pending on my debit card. Merchant was ECHST.net with a partial phone #. I called my bank because I did not know what it was. They only had the name and a partial phone #. So I went to ECHST.net's website and found a phone number and called them. They were able to "pull up my account" (which I was unaware of or HAD NEVER OPENED) with the last 4 numbers of my debit card. She was also able to tell me my name. She said the charge was for using a porn site! I told her I had never opened an account and had never been to a porn site. I did add that I was a 74 year old lady! I demanded that the $2.00 charge be removed. In fact, I told her it better be removed. She was snippy with me and told me not to tell her it better be! She said she would close the account and by the way she said there are 6 more charges that were going to post! I called my bank back, closed my debit card and ordered a new one. Oh, she would not tell me how she got my card #. Kept insisting I opened the account. A complete fraud/scam.
