(Employment scam)

This is a scam where they try to say they are hiring to have you receive packages at your house, inspect them for quality and then send them other places. This was an obvious scam when I saw the application. It was clearly copied and pasted and not to mention they kept asking random questions about who my primary banker was before I finished the "interview". They also said they don't pay you for the first month so they can know you are trustworthy. Taking peoples info off of Indeed and Career builder and pretending to be employers.

I made an online purchase and the company supposably used Eastway Logistics to ship my merchandise. Once it arrived at customsat the airport they emailed me and said that because it came from overseas I had to have a permit and I needed to send $*** for the permit so I did. the very next morning I recieved another email telling me that I had to have insurance to cover my merchandise incase of damages, my merchandise cost $*** so I had to get at least $*** worth of insurance so I sent another $***. This mornng I recieved another email telling me

$*** to acquire a Quarantine Certificate. So I desided that someone had to just be trying to get as much money out of me as thy could, at this point including my merchandise I lost $***. So I tried to call them and the Phone number is no go so I emailed them and told them that I was through sending them money to just return the product and return my money $*** and as of 3:45 central time I still have not heard from them and I dont expect to.
