Umm I am paranoid after reading these comments. I wished I did research before submitting all my personal info... what do I do? They can use my info for anything now... help

Did they really use your social security number so far? I'm a victim too

I paid $97.00 to be able to get my ss card application expedited.
When I checked the package tracking , the package would have arrived at the same time or later than the package being directly mailed by Social Security Administration.
When I spoke to the customer service rep he made an offer of 1/2 of purchase price. He then offered a refund of $87.00. I being very frustrated then accepted a refund of $90.00.
I am a small business owner and am astonished that they would not do an immediate full price discount for services and sales that were not even initiated. I cannot take money from a client and not complete the service that I was hired for this is just theft in my opinion.
Do not use this business they will make money for nothing!

Did you get what you ordered?

Hopefully I dis get burned of 37 dollars

I gave E records $37 to get a new social security card. They sent me a label through my email for the correct office to mail my form and drivers license and birth certificate. But my concern is my form has my ss number on it. Has anyone ever had them use their social number or is the scam just taking the 37.00?

Do you know if they're using her ss number? I hope not but you should check if you can

I was trying to receive a replacement SSN card. E-Records website is the first link that shows up on google, and appeared to be a legitimate government website. I filled in information on the website forms though DID NOT SUBMIT any of the information or pay for anything, as it seemed suspicious. Despite this, I received an email from a "Jeff" from E-Records asking me to complete my application and I would get a discount. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, they charge for the SSN card replacement despite this being offered for free from the actual SSN office. Very misleading. At this point I knew they had saved my information, including likely my SSN. I replied to the email asking for an explanation. They replied back with "Dear *******, " and nothing more. I also oddly received 2 phone robo calls at this time telling me my SSN had been compromised and to call the robocall number to fix the problem. I realize there are many robo calls out there, but for 2 SSN scam robo calls to occur immediately after filling in information on a SSN card replacement website is far too strange to be a coincidence. At this point I looked up the organization and called their offices. A lady assured me that only my phone number and cell phone were saved, but not my social security number. She became defensive when I explained what had happened to her. Today I looked up the organization on ScamPulse.com and see that they have a rating of F, along with numerous reviews of fraud. Please take legal action against these people, this is clearly a fraudulent organization and is listed as the first pick on Google. Do something about this so people stop getting scammed.

Has any fraud related things happen w your ss number? Pls reply I'm stressed bx I did the same thing

I did the same, can you please let me know if they misused your social number or not?

I *just* did this, but also did not submit, nor had any of my CC: info in there. Unfortunately like you, I did have my SSN/personal info in but again, did not hit the submit button. I also just received an e-mail from [email protected], claiming that my info would be saved only up to 4:54 PM EST, on 4-25-2021 - worried about this now. I also went to ssa.gov and saw that they do NOT let you apply for a SS card on-line. That's when I went back to the E-Records site and backed out of it. While I am typing this (5:48 pm EST), I am getting my first robocall from a 908-409-0921 number. No message left, hung up. I've now blocked the number.

Did anything happen with you ss number?

I went online to get a new SS Card and at the end they ask for my credit card information. I didn’t put in, I decided to call the SS office and they said they do not charge for a SS card.

Has anything happened to the information you put in?

- Kerman, CA, USA

This imposter site is charging me for my ssn card when I know for a fact that the ssa office chargers nothing to get a card reissued and they obtain your ssn for what?!! This thing reeks of id theft ring to me and I am sure it doesn't sit well with others either!! God only knows what they will do with my information!

Has anything happened?

- Poughkeepsie, NY, USA

They Search Engine Optimize their website to rank higher than the government websites for "social security replacement card".

They then take all of your identity information and charge $80-100 to send you a printed form, with misleading info inferring they're sending you a card. They even include an empty envelope with the printed application, so you think they missed sending you the card. I imagine they scam suckers who call them even more. They likely also sell your info for identity theft.

God this sucks, has any ss number related things happened to uou?

I thought I was getting my daughter's social security card I didn't realize it was just a form. Someone told me that I could get that for free. So I was scammed out of money for nothing.

+6

Did any thing happen w people using her ss number?

What kind of information did you put down,?

I thought the same..I thought I was applying for my replacement card only to receive a form with a prepaid label to send my documents to my local SSA office..Come to find out, replacing your ss card costs absolutely nothing, so I was scammed out of $37 dollars and not to mention when you email them, it comes back undeliverable..GO FIGURE! However, I applied for my replacement card through the SSA legitimate website and received my card within 10 business days..Wish I had done my research on these crooks..Luckily my local SSA Office forward me all of my documents (drivers license, passport, and health insurance card) which was my main concerned..It just the mere fact that these crooks have all of my personal information that I had to resort to getting IdentityIQ just in case of any fraudulent activity.

Did anyone experience any draud issues or just out of the money?

- Peru, IN, USA

I tried to get a replacement for my ssn. I made a account. They sent me a package to get my new ssn card. They needed me to send in my passport and birth certificate. This was back in mar. I have called them. They said my package was sent to Kokomo IN on May 1st 2020. I called Kokomo ssn they said they have not received anything, that they do not work with 3rd party.
