I received a phone call from Dynamic Solutions GTA, saying I applied to their position via LinkedIn, and they would like to schedule an interview. I've been applying to jobs regularly, so I assumed this was one of the jobs I applied to. However, after getting off the phone, I tried to find the job title and description in my spreadsheet of applications but couldn't. Googling the company led me to Reddit posts saying the company was a scam, so I tried to call back but was sent to voicemail. The recruiter texted me asking if I needed anything, and I requested additional information about the job. I received an email saying I 'responded to the Entry-Level Marketing Associate position with VIR Properties on LinkedIn. They are our recruiting and partnership firm.' After looking at my records, I did apply to VIR Properties (not through LinkedIn), but to their Entry-Level Project Manager Position. I emailed back and cancelled the interview.
