I wanted to connect internet services at home with Time Warner Cable . I Google the customer service and I selected just that display only Internet. I dial 1 888 967 4565 . People at other line answered "Time Warner Cable , how can I help you" I say my intentions and he offers me promotions :connections, California rebate router, free installation and just because its a big promotion do it anytime Monday-Sunday. we was star talking at 13:04 (10-12-2015) for 20 min all time with the speakers on bcs my father want to have the contract under his name . The man on the line ask for many kind of information included the SSN (don't provide it) after 25 min he recorded my father's answers. After I gave my debit card information and pay for the router and he says after the connection it will charge for the services . We received a router TL-WR740N and the instructions to get the rebate at [email protected] (855-495-0108) PO BOX 518 Roseville, Ca. 95661 .This router was sent using the FedEx services. The technician never came to my home . On early Monday I called Time Warner Cable customer service and they don have any contract under the name of me or my father .

we went to Time Warner place and they don't recognize any third party to sell services or equipment , but the kwon same situations from other customers on the same week.
