Agreed to pick up a rescue Italian Greyhound. Made a down payment. Drove 5.5 hours for pickup with an agreement to pay the other half in person. Scammer told me halfway into my trip plans had changed. He couldn't make it so a transport company would deliver the dog to the pickup location. The transport company said I need to rent a crate and pay for insurance. Such a scam. Then I contacted Daniel's Italian Greyhound Rescue and the scam was revealed.
