I bought 2 paintings on Venmo. I paid her $1800 on 2/6/25 via Venmo for a painting called “Choice” listed on her website. I paid her $1100 on 2/20/25 via Venmo for a painting called “Hummingbird” not listed on her website but I do have text messages discussing the price. I bought both paintings to save on shipping. She continued to make multiple excuses about why the paintings were not shipping. She has now asked for more money via Venmo to cover shipping. I told her she could go to FedEx and I would pay over the phone with a credit card. She refuses. She has since ignored me via text and instagram. On 3/12/25, I tried to request the total of $2900 from her via Venmo. I inadvertently paid her $2900. Venmo is unable to cancel this charge. I am out $5800 that she has swindled from me.
