I received a call from a business claiming to be affiliated with my son's high school. The caller stated that I was required to purchase an SAT/ACT preparation kit by the school for a class that my son has taken. He confirmed that the charge wouldn't be much but he didn't give me an actual price. The person I spoke with made it seem highly time sensitive and made me make a decision on the spot and before I knew the whole story he had charged me $220, for what he claimed included multiple practice test booklets, and two DVD's with run downs of common questions found on these tests, along with other services. When I received the package it was only 2 DVDs and I was charged $220. I googled the business and called the guy to return the item, and he didn't accept the return claiming that he doesn't except returns, even though he originally stated that I would have 30 days to return the product, he then proceeded to blocking my number and denying any involvement with his prior fraudulent claims. The man hasn't been answering and after calling the school I discovered that he has not had any involvement with the school and has originally stolen the school records and began scamming high school students and their parents.
