I signed up for a $0.99 trial with Clipto.ai, expecting it to be a limited trial. After the trial ended, my account was charged $25.99 for a full subscription without my authorization. When I attempted to cancel and request a refund, the company initially claimed I had not submitted a cancellation request in time and refused to refund the charge. Additionally, my account later showed a $9.99 monthly plan that I never signed up for. Despite providing screenshots and evidence, the company did not resolve the issue or issue a refund. This experience appears misleading and could cause other users to be charged unexpectedly after trials.
