I was contacted by email for a job opportunity and after completing a couple weeks of assessments, paperwork, and giving them my bank account information, I never heard from them again. Upon doing some research, I found that the company was real and they were aware of a breach that was going on, but they weren't doing much to stop it.

I applied for a job opportunity through Linkedin that directed me to JOIN. I submitted my applicatiom and was contacted by a "recruiter" a week later that directed me to an interview on an instant messaging system called Wire. The entire interview was conducted via instant measaging and the next say, I received an offer letter. I was asked to submit a series of pre-training tasks and to sign a NDA and submit a copt of my photo ID and Social Security card. Weeks passed and I did not receive any compensation for the work that I performed. I called the company directly today and they confirmed that I have been scammed.
