They texted: "We're contacting you about your health policy with an outstanding balance. Call your agent at 888-756-1846 to review your details. Reply STOP to end." When I called, they didn't identify themselves. Eventually they offered to lower my bill from $2,884.00 to $1,300.00 if I were to pay it all at once. I asked for verification that I was speaking to Cigna and they couldn't give it other than "reassuring" them that that's who they are. They couldn't send me a new bill to pay. She said that I would get a link through email to verify the charge, that nothing would be charged until I verified it through the link. She said she was an upper level manager that was able to get me the bill reduction. The more I pressed for verification the more unprofessional she got. I ended that call and reached out to Cigna, they said that neither phone number did not belong to Cigna. (417) 373-9556 or 888-756-1846
