Telephone calls: April 19, 20, 21, 2017...4 calls in three days asking "can you hear me?" I did not answer but blew a very loud whistle into the receiver.

At about 11:00 AM 4/13/17 I received a phone call - no one answered immediately, so I up.

At 11:07 I received another call from the same phone #. I answered the call with "Hello".

The scammer asked, "Can you hear me?" I said "No" and hung up.

answered,,, caller said this is a recorded line can you hear me ok,,, heard on news that they want you to say Yes

so they can use your voice stating that you said yes to use our voice as identity theft

When I answer the phone, a woman says "Hello". So I said "yes" which I immediately realized I shouldn't have done. I've gotten this call a couple of times already - the woman says "Oh my headset slipped". Since I've read about this I always hang up but I did say "yes" without thinking first.

I think this was one of those scams that tries to get whomever is answering the phone to say "yes." Unfortunate, I was unaware this was a scam initially, and I said yes.

phone caller, called me from 585-563-2596, asking if "can you hear" getting me to solicit a "yes" answer. after I realized it was a potential phishing scam I hung up.
