I was first approached via Instagram by a Charles Scoutt. He befriended me and started talking about bitcoin mining investment under btcunique. I did my own research and could not find any red flags that this could be a potential scam. I invested originally $1000 and referred 9 other people to invest. The first issue came with my first payout. It did not happen due to the fact that all my referrals were under one mining rig; per BTC. They stated that if we invested $50 each; all accounts would be unlinked. All transactions for this was using Coinbase. Today; I am eligible to withdraw and NOW there is another problem. They stated that Coinbase is not accepting their money and that I need to invest another $600 for a terminal port in order for me to get my money via Zelle or PayPal. I asked why and BTC stated that there are issues with "cold" and "hot" wallets in cryptocurrency investments. None of this was ever disclosed. They only communicate via text or their website chat. I have text messages and chat transcripts to show all the efforts. I have reported them today to the FBI and will report as well to my local county Attorney General.
