I am part of a brushing scam. I keep receiving packages from Amazon with a return address of china in the mail. Several times each week. I notified Amazon in the beginning but they never did anything and never responded. I have never scanned the QR code and have not noticed any monetary withdrawals.

Received a package for a ring that wasn't ordered. Senders name is John Health. I don't know any such person and never ordered this ring. Potential "Brushing Scam".

Scammer calls regarding a priority overnight package. Seems like a vendor trying to deliver however they are not. They say they are sending you sports tshirts as a thank you for being a customer and then proceed to try to trick you into sending you an order. At first they make you think it’s samples but they are not. They are trying to send you an order without pricing and trying to trick you to consent. SCAM!! Quickly told them we cannot accept packages from unapproved vendors. They hesitated to answer the name of the company when asked. Also would not disclose how they have your phone number or name. Someone is selling personal information to companies. When they call you, they seem to know a lot about you already.

I was sent an *** black bridesmaids dress that I did not order. Nobody I know sent this dress to me. I've tried contacting the seller through email and phone, but they do not respond. I don't know where it came from, or if they're trying to scam me somehow.

Packages 5 Total delivered to my home addressed to *** ****, accidentally opened the first one. The merchandise is extremely provocative in nature. The other packages have remained unopened. Called Amazon, they only text, four customer service people none could help me return packages, nor were they able to validate the tracking numbers.

This is truly a form of fraud, using an address not yours. Plus not being able to return merchandise that was not ordered by myself. Would appreciate any help you can give with this matter. ************* **** *******

Received a package for ring that wasnt ordered. Tried looking up address sent from just leads me to Amazon. Went on web site for GRA MOISSANITE. DIDNT click on as it said not a safe web site. Just has the name John Health. I dont know any such person

On November 1, 2024 I received 2 packages purportedly from Amazon, addressed to me by first name only (but correct address). I had not ordered the merchandise and contacted Amazon. The same thing has happened twice more - 11/4 and 11/6, each time with no return address on the shipping box and a different return address each time on the slip inside the boxes (11/1 from Wilmington DE ; 11/4 from Garner NC and 11/6 from the Charlotte address above). No sender name, phone number or email address are listed. Each time I contacted Amazon, but after hours on live chat I've had no explanation or answers to my questions - the agents are nice but I keep getting bounced around from one to another, all asking for the information I already gave, and no one who was supposed to look into it has gotten back to me. I'm very careful with my online security, but with so many companies not being careful enough, some of my information was obviously leaked by some organization, and the company has not explained how they will stop this. I'm not well and can't keep wasting my time with them..I haven't the energy. I called our local police, who knew nothing about brushing scams. I filed with the FTC, but that report is simply for informational purposes. I don't know what to do, and I don't need the stress, which makes my illness worse.

I RECIEVED A PACKAGE FOR AN ITEM I HAD NOT ORDERED. I LOOKED ON-LINE AND FOUND THE ADDRESS LISTED AS A WAREHOUSE THAT WAS FOR SALE. I ALSO FOUND AN ITEM WHERE ANOTHER PERSON FROM ANOTHER STATE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE. THAT PERSON REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO THEIR BBB, SO I DECIDED THAT I SHOULD REPORT MY PROBLEM TO THE NC BBB. I AM RETURNING THE ITEM AND REPORTING TO MY LOCAL POST OFFICE TO INVESTIGATE AS WELL.

Read about a Brushing Scam where people are sending you items in the mail and using your information on the back end to influence reviews and other outlets pertaining to their store/items.

I received a package in the mail that I didn’t order nor did anyone in my household. It was just a T-Shirt. Upon researching the return address listed on the package, I found it is a vacant lot being sold on Zillow, realtor.com, etc.
