BringMeThat.com called our restaurant to place an order on behalf of our customer. We do not take orders from third-parties (we mentioned that on our website very clearly), but they pretended to be the customer themselves so we prepared the foods. We take payment at the time of pickup, so we just hanged up. The customer visited our restaurant to pick up their order, but refused to pay to us saying they've already paid to BringMeThat.com. They showed us their phone with the order screen and the customer's claim seemed legit, but we never recognized the company and definitely didn't expect BringMeThat.com pays to us (they have very outdated menu too, so the price didn't much anyway either). We are a small restaurant which cannot just give away the foods without payment. The customer yelled at us, and eventually at other customers who tried to help settling the situation, so we asked them to leave without the foods. BringMeThat.com seems to have taken money from our customer and the foods we prepared had to go waste. Of course, the customer left a very harsh one-star review on review sites. We have requested BringMeThat.com to remove our business from their listing, but nothing happened so far (not even automated response). It's hard to believe this business still exists after all of these...

[Edit to Add] I used the Chat on their website and they responded to us quickly, and they seem to have removed our business from their listing. They literally said "All done! Is there anything else you need?", and to that, I responded "Is that all you say? Not even an apology?", then they ended the chat session.

This company purports to be a food delivery service. They call the restaurant to try to place an order and then automatically sign you up for a subscription without consent for $9.95 per month. There is no confirmation email or indication that this has occurred, just a charge to the card. The restaurant I used warned me that this was a fraudulent company and they weren’t even able to accept the order from them. Do not input your credit card information to this website.

Like everyone else, I thought I was using a service that the restaurant was contracting with. Then I received a notice from my bank in the evening to check my charges. One extra charge of more than $17 had gone through, but then it showed as reversed. Then there was the charge for my order, except that I had entered a coupon code that showed I was getting 5% off. My total in my email showed 5% off, but my bank card was charged the full amount. Then I saw the nearly $10 subscription fee? What!? I went to their site and was able to reach support through a chat session. He could not explain the initial bogus charge that was entered, and then reversed, but at least this should not be an issue. When I typed that I did not subscribe to anything, he showed me a screen print from when I entered my card information for the order. In fine print at the bottom, it said I was subscribing. I asked him, "For what? Calling in my order the same way I could have?" The response was, "So do you want to keep your subscription?" "No, I did not intend to subscribe." He cancelled it, and I received a confirmation email of the cancellation. At least it seems easy to reverse, but I will be monitoring my bank account for awhile.

Signed me up for a recurring charge without telling me, never notified me of upcoming charges, then refused to refund me. I'm disputing the charges with my credit card company now. All the reviews for them online are terrible, and all the positive reviews they have on the Apple app store look super fake. Just look them up and you'll see all the terrible reviews. Avoid them at all costs!

I ordered pizza from a local restaurant and this app came up and took my order and my cc information - I thought I was dealing with the restaurant - then I got an email saying the order failed because the restaurant wasn’t taking payment over the phone- so I called the restaurant - they had no record of the order and they had never heard of this business - so now I wait for the refund they said they would send $59.43

I have tried for months to cancel their service and they continue to keep charging me. I am retired and I am trying to cut unnecessary expenses. I never used the service since it didn't service the restaurant I was trying to order from. Please get this matter cleared up

I use this service because I was broswing a restaurant's menu (google partner with a company called singleplatform) and on the menu there is a button called "order online", I did not realize that the owner did not use this service at all. It turns out that this site call the owner and place the order pretending to be me, and they use their credit card instead of mine and then charge mine. This is totally a scam and I will call my lawyer to deal with this.

They posed on-line as a a local italian restaurant. Took my order, took my money and added 7 bucks on a separate fee. I went to pick up my pizza and they had no idea about my order. The restaurant told me that this has happened to many people. I looked these guys up and it is clearly a scam perpetrated on many people. Please shut these guys down! Please alert visa and other credit card companies to not do business with them. Please respond to me about what you can do.

This online food ordering service is scamming people who order from restaurants. They take the person’s money and then call the order in to the restaurant and say they will pay upon arrival. Then the restaurant loses out because they don’t want to charge their customers twice. I had to comp $116.83 because of this scam, and they took $116.83 from an innocent couple.

I ordered food from my phone by searching on Google chrome for a local restaurant. Chrome let me select my food and automatically used my saved credit card information to place the order. Right after I ordered my food, I noticed that the tab was higher than what the food cost had shown. Then I got an email from BringMeThat.com that stated my order had been placed through them. I was confused and went in to ask the store if my food was ready and if my order had gone through. When they told me a random person called and paid for my food using a separate credit card, I knew something was wrong. I looked at the charges sent from my BringMeThat email receipt and noticed they charged me $3.99 as a service fee.

This business practice is unacceptable. They are taking advantage of people with cards saved in their payments and hoping people don't notice the service fee. If Chrome would have directed me directly to the restaurants website, I would have saved $3.99. After looking online, it also looks like they automatically sign you up for a monthly subscription service without getting your consent. How isn't this illegal? I am going to be forced to cancel my credit card as they now have my card information and will most likely try and charge me for a monthly subscription for which I didn't sign up.

This is causing me a headache and additional time and money. I need my credit card for work and will need to expedite it, which costs money.

I recommend an investigation and some action. By just spending 5 minutes reading, I found around 100 complaints about this company and how they are scamming people.

We placed an order with a local restaurant through Bring Me That. We had never done this before. We were immediately charged a service fee that did not match the order. We called the restaurant and they have never heard of Bring Me That, and did not have our order. We tried to call Bring Me That, but they don't provide a phone number to call with problems, only a live chat. After 20 minutes with the online agent asking us to wait for an update, they agreed to reverse the charge since they were unsuccessful in submitting the order, something confirmed with an e-mail 5 minutes later. I believe if we had not pursued this so assertively in the chat, we would not have received the fee back.

I tried to download a copy of the live chat, but the icon to do this is an inactive link.

I went to order from a local restaurant and delivery through this website. I proceeded to call the restaurant and they do not have delivery service of any kind. I went to get the food personally. They informed that they do not deliver food of any type.

The web site is called Bring Me That. I thought I was ordering my lunch (online) directly from my local chinese restaurant. It turns out that someone from this site called in the order for me, used their credit card and then over charged mine. I had to cancel my credit card and dispute the charges. When I spoke to the owner of the restaurant, she had no idea about this website and has no contract with them.
