The scammer responded and offered snow removal including clearing walkways and sanding for each snowfall 2024-25 winter.
Says pricing will allow for a Senior’s discount.
I brought my neighbor in on the shared drive cost for a total of $480.
** I have reimbursed my neighbour,
So the full amount is now paid by me**
Scammer
Asks for ETransfer money upfront to his email
I sent the money
He requested communication by texting
Does not respond to texts after failing to show up for snow removal on first snowfall
I attempted to reach him by Messanger and email
He finally responded and had a ‘song and dance’ convoluted story as to why he had not shown up.
I trusted him, to follow through
Which he never did
Once I finally admitted to myself that I had misjudged and made an error with this individual,
I requested return of funds
He messages ‘no’ He would not be returning money
I then said cancel my agreement/ connection and I said, do not step one foot on my property or I will file a restraining order.
I have made a full police report ( Dex 10, 2024
