I placed an order with earnbmaings online for 2 tree ornaments and a desktop ornament. I used PayPal credit to place the order. I received an email itemized receipt of the order from that company with free shipping, but I opted in $1.06 extra for shipping insurance and rcvg a 2.99 discount for a total of $50.84 which it states explicitly will be charged to PayPal. Oddly, when I checked my PayPal account, it was charged for $63.55 by a different company name : beastrirtyyuy co., ltd the payment info itemized the same ornaments and total. No 1.06 shipping insurance fee is listed, but the is an added charge for tax of 12.71! There is no tax listed on the itemized emailed receipt. Also, this tax rate is extremely high (over 20%!) for an order of what is listed as 52.77 less 2.99 discount, so 50. 84. Where did that 12.71 come from??? Is this legal??
