Terrible customer service and entire website and description of items misleading. They use wording such as vintage in the title and in the description to mislead. This is on top of burying the actual facts of where the item is produced and shipped from. This is all a way for them to get your money/order then not allow any returns, exchanges or cancellations- all final sale. It’s final sale because once they get your order then send it to a warehouse in China who then handles the order for them.

When I asked to cancel this order or be able to return I was told I cannot. When I pushed back on this and said their website was misleading I received a very long, very rude, very condescending email back from Janelle letting me know how wrong I was, how she will allow a return for a customer “like me” (which I find a questionable term) but I will “shoulder all the return costs” - basically the company is not legit and selling you items that cost them a fraction of what you’re paying and low quality associated with that low cost.

Biella Vintage is one of those websites registered in the US but ships all orders from China. I ordered over 100 CDN$ worth of jewellery from this website and purchased delivery insurance. I received notice from the website on June 23 that my package had been delivered on June 15. I checked Canada Post's website and it had been updated June 23 to show that, indeed, my order had been delivered June 15. It's highly irregular to get a delivery update so far after the fact. I checked with my building concierge and they had no record of a delivery at the stated date and time. My building has a log system for deliveries, does a weekly audit of packages and has security cameras to prove the package never arrived. I told Biella Vintage customer service all of this and they said to check with my concierge. Clearly they did not even read my email. I filed a claim with the insurance I purchase and was told it was only valid for 30 days. No package arrives from China via standard shipping in less than 30 days! This, despite being told to be patient because of Covid-19 delays. I've escalated the claim to Paypal.
