I received a text message addressed to my father, stating he wanted to contact him about excess funds pertaining to our address. The person wouldn't provide me with substancial information so that I could confirm the legitimacy of the person and the company he claimed to work for. He denied all requests and continued to try and get personal information about myself. I'm reporting to protect my father from getting used and having his personal information stolen under the guise of promised money.
