Let them MFs called me on scamming [censored] making physical and verbally threats towards me they will get cussed out! They got the right one today!

- Cleveland, TN, USA • Jan 22, 2024

I was contacted by a person calling for some kind of association calling themselves Beckman and Associates. They gave me a number to call and a case number to reference. I called knowing of this type of scam. They answered saying Beckman and Associates, then asked for the reference number. I was then transferred to a collections manager. They proceeded to ask for my birthdate and last 4 or first 3 of my ssn#, when I refused, they said they had my full #, but I called bull, and asked them for their info, and what the call was about. They refused to give me any info until I gave them info they asked for. I continued to refuse, and I instructed them to go ahead and take whatever legal action they needed to, I would not be giving them any information until I knew exactly what the call was about. they got very nasty and abruptly ended the conversation. I monitor my info on all 3 credit bureaus, and have an id protection account through my work, I'd know of any debt collections on my credit.

I got a call from someone claiming to be letting me know that a complaint has been filed against me. He couldn't tell me what it was be cause he wasn't with the law firm, just someone hired to track me down and give me a reference number to Beckmann and Associates in San Diego California. So for fun I called. A woman claiming her name was Tasha Hall answered and proceeded to tell me my SSN, addresses where I have lived and so on. Everything about me, she knew. She claimed that I owed Circuit City more than $3500 and if I refused to pay, I would have to go to court and face a judge. I told her that I knew good and damn well that what I had financed with Circuit City 24 years prior, I had paid off in full. Hell, it was only $179 to begin with. Of course she continued to threaten me with adjudications and court orders to repay this debt, which I again refused, because I know that this debt doesn't exist. No doubt this group of people (scammers) were able to get my information from a public records request of the bankruptcy filing from Circuit City.

A simple Google search, revealed a ton of complaints from this same Beckmann and Associates, in reference to 100% scams. In the end, I simply told Ms Hall that I would go to court, when a judge signed a summons for me to appear and other than that, she could kiss my sweet white [censored]. Do I really think there will be any court summons? Not a chance in hell. This is a total scam and they are doing nothing more than trying to scare older folks into just giving them money, to get out of the non-existent problem. It's too easy for them sometimes, because for some reason older folks just seem to fall for it at a much higher percentage. Well I may be 60 years old, but I'm not an [censored] and I have never in my life, defaulted on a debt...EVER. Have fun Beckmann, because fun is all you are getting out of this. To be fair, I find it kind of fun myself, but that's probably because it's just too damn easy to beat a cheater.

A lady named Tammy Turner saying she was a paralegal representing Beckman and Associates stating I owed a credit card debt from 2003. She stated she would fole a judgement against me, freeze my assets and garnish my paycheck until the debt was paid in full. She sent me an email stating that if I voluntarily paid it she could lower the amount owed. I have attached a copy of the letter. This person has called my personal cell multiple times a day as well as Sunday. She has called my work and my husband cell number. I didn’t even have a husband 20 years ago.

Received a phone call from a local number (985-239-3835), asking for my ex-husband of over 23 years ago, saying that they were trying to collect a debt. Told them that I don't have any contact with him & never have since then. They then gave me a name & number to call to be taken off their list of references: Bechmann & Associates 866-558-1941

My mother got a phone call twice from this supposed debt collection agency threatening her physically, and with a lawsuit immediately if she did not pay $75,000 for a discharge debt from 2003.. so I called them and they were also verbally abusive to me and nasty beyond anything I’ve heard on the phone. Constant hangups cussing me out. I’ve reported them to the FBI, the DOJ, the FTC and I’m not done yet. I will go to the ends of this earth to prosecute these people. These people are scam artists. This is not a legitimate business and do not be fooled. They are trying to do anything to separate you from your money. Don’t answer the phone if it comes from a number such as this 888-615-1712.

These people called saying I owed the Bank of Delaware credit card $5,000.00. I have never had a Bank of Delaware and they knew all my information. They called stating I would be served with a court order for this credit card. Anyway, I locked all my credit reports. I called every Backmann and Associates I could find and the claim #and its bogus!!! The the actual law firms said this was a scam. I kept trying to call the scammy company back and they would not answer my calls any more.
