I purchased a puppy through a breeder online. Payment was made and suddenly as the puppy is ready to be transported fell ill. The puppy tested positive for Parvovirus and I was told it was my responsibility for payment of the treatment. Every time money was requested, a different email or phone number was given for sending payment. I asked for the breeder to meet me in Jacksonville to pick up the puppy. Six hours I awaited the arrival, instead I got a phone call that their vehicle broke down and they had no money to pay. I offered to go to where they were, about 30 miles away, and they refused. I was guilted into sending the additional money to get my puppy and they never came or called. The puppy was put on a transport and I get a message that she needed two vaccines before she could go and I had to pay. I sent the message to my vet about the vaccines and they were for cows and horses. The transport accepted a puppy with no CVI, but refused to release her until the additional money was paid. I have paid three different times to have the puppy transported to me and they never did. The breeder then agreed to bring her and I get a notice that she is needing $300 because she was at a RaceTrac gas station in Jacksonville and she didn’t have her bank card.
