The scammer notified me by email that I had defaulted on a personal loan from Cash America in the amount of $2285. They claimed to be employed by Cash America to get paid on this account, and that they had already sent all the paperwork to the courts. If I didn’t pay, they would be taking me to court and getting a judgment against me. Supposedly it was from Cash America of Ohio in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
