Received threatening emails demanding payment to avoid arrest
I contacted my attorney and was told that unless I received something in the mail legally, that this is a scam. And that I have 48 hours to respond back. They did this last year with a text message. So I called the number back and was told that I had to pay to avoid going to court. I asked for confirmation and they had all of my information. Where I lived, my deceased husband's name. I told them that I was going to contact my attorney and that I was not going to pay a dime to them. And they said that they were going to proceed.
