American Gaming Association promotion Reports & Reviews (1)

- Saint Robert, MO, USA • Mar 26, 2026

I got a call from someone saying that I won $18.5 million dollars, a new Mercedes Benz, and a voucher for $650,000 from a gaming lottery. I came in 3rd place. I spoke to Peter from 202-487-9036 and he passed me on to David Thomas, he he told me to send him 1% of the tax money on the winnings which was $299.00. I lost a total of $299. I sent a check to him by mail. I was told to mail the check to Billy Smith in Houston, TX. The numbers that called me were from 314-393-5467 and then 573-305-7872. This was supposed to be a gaming lottery, called The American Gaming Association promotion. It was supposed to be sponsored by Target, Walmart, etc.. In the email from them it gave a link to the Better Business Bureau and a notice from ScamPulse.com about this. I was told I would have to fill out a W-2 G form. Then it goes on to describe the $18.5 million dollars. Then they told me about car insurance. Then I decided to report it to the BBB.
