My husband and I were trying to find health insurance for him after he was laid off and I called the healthcare hot line and was told about American Collective Healthcare Insurance. It all sounded like a good reasonable plan. He went to his doctor appointment and tried to use his card information and didn't work. Tried to call American Collective and started getting the run around. So, I tried to cancel it, and they had already taken out another payment said they couldn't refund it. We had the payment stopped. I told them to cancel it because it wouldn't work. They are still trying to get money from our checking account. My husband (Aubrey) had his debit card changed so they can't. A representative of their company called on 7/31/26, today called and wanted a payment. I called the customer service number they gave us and I was told that they are not in business anymore.
