Received a phone call from 1-833-784-1940 on 04/06/26 and 04/07/26 claiming to be Aetna, I didn’t answer. They left an automated voicemail about “an important health reminder “, they provided a 7 digit pin# that was supposed to be provided to them when I call back to confirm it was me.

I keep receiving calls from this number saying they are calling on behalf of Aetna (my insurance) and to call back with a seven digit code. The first question they ask is for me to say Yes or No, and I just dont trust it. I called my Aetna directly and they do not have record of calling me

I had an automated voicemail claiming to be AETNA. It gave me a number to call back regarding an important Pharmacy benefit. It wanted me to provide my 10 digit phone number. When I called back, it already knew who I was but wanted me to answer Yes it was me. It asked me to enter my zip code before asking if I planned on renewing my prescription medication and then telling me about a free phone number to call, (800) 556-1555, to get free advice on how to take my prescription medication.
