I received a call from this company and I was offer a $5000. I was told that my payments would be $133 a month for 36 months. They transferred me to a agent that said he worked for US bank and that I would receive the money to my bank account through a inner bank transfer. I was told that I needed send them $250 gift cards for a personal property insurance on loan. Then I was told to send another $400 for the transfer fee to transfer money from their account to my account. The money was suppose to be deposited into my account 12/30 by midnight. I never received the money.

The scammer was introduced to me by a “friend “…he told me I could receive $10.000 if I was willing to pay $1000. I agreed. The scammer kept asking for more and more money until my bank account had no more money in it..and “they “ my “friend “ and the scammer continued to ask for more money.. my “friend “ urged me on saying..” this is the last time you’ll be asked for money” this continued even After I told I them I didn’t have any more cash! There’s a lot more to report but I don’t believe I’ll have enough space to continue on with the whole story.. but that was the gist of what happened..

This company got me through an email. Never spoke to anyone on the phone. Just a website questionnaire that said "yes we can approve your loan. We need this information to run it." I gave them personal information and banking account information. A few hours later, $1200 shows up in my account. Check my emails, there was an email from 1:30am saying click this box to sign. I didn't, instead I went online and created an account on their site with my information and there is this INSANE document with 762% in interest. They wanted $5742 in interest charges, $347 a month twice a month for 20 months. They had gotten my ip address when I originally clicked the link and my name was already filled in. The IP address is generic, it's not mine for security for reasons like this. They had checked boxes for me to approve the monthly payments come out of checking automatically twice a month. Also, Normally forms let you sign. I have a Note with stylus, so I always sign my name or just put an ex. Someone had put my name twice. The loan wording is insane. Talking about they go by the law of the Tribe. I cannot believe this.

I was in the process of applying for a personal loan online, when I received an offer from a company called Freedom Plus. Turns out, Freedom Plus WAS a real company that had changed its name to Achieve Loans. The scammer tried to claim they were bought by Achieve but still offering loans under the Freedom Plus name. For reference, I never actually signed the loan agreement or received the $5,000 loan promised. After much back and forth and giving them my banking information/online banking information, I was told I needed to go through a bank verification process. At this point, I wasn't too skeptical. They told me they were sending money into my account and I would have to send it back via Cash App or moneycard addition at Walmart. Once completed and the money returned, the loan would be deposited into my account. At first, I was told they were sending me $1,000 that would need to be returned. I believed they were lawfully/honestly depositing this money into my account. So I transferred it to my other bank account to be able to send it back via money services at Walmart. Once I did so, I was told that the verification department needed me to do it again since I had used a different bank account. This time it was $600. I was told this would be the final time I had to go through the verification process and then the loan money would be deposited into my account. I once again went to Walmart and did so. Both times, I was sent the money card information to add the money to. The "loan officer" told me that it worked and the loan money would be deposited into my account in the morning because they were "closing". The next morning, a mobile deposit was put into my bank account. However, no money had ever hit my account and/or became part of my available balance because it had to be verified by my banking institution and was put on hold. At the same time, the "loan company" had put $300 into my other account. Keep in mind, each time, they had "deposited" "extra money" into my account as a way of being nice and keeping their customer happy and gaining their trust. I was now told that I had to do the verification process yet again but it would be the final time. This time, I refused since no money had hit my account to be able to "return". At this point, the loan officer was texting me and accusing me of being dishonest and running away with money. He told me it was government money, which it definitely was not. He threatened me with legal action and harassed me. He told me I would be going to jail and that I was stealing money and that I must return the money at any cost. When I told them there was no money to return, he told me they filed legal action against me and listed the codes they filed complaints against me under. However, these code/section numbers did not match the legal action he was trying to associate them with. Also, there were several typos within his messages. He also had a fake number call me and falsely pose as a police officer and state that there was a legal complaint against me. When I did not respond to the "loan officer's" harassing messages, he told me they were giving me one last chance to return the money to them, since they could not take it back themselves. Now, the money could also be sent back via Zelle. I since blocked the number and contacted my banks and opened claims on the transactions and the companies. This company tried to pose as a real corporation and harass me/threaten me with legal action in order to get me to comply. At first, I thought it was normal. This was until I was being harassed and threatened and asked to go through the verification process a third time.

The person name was Mark and it was a debt collector service where you can consolidate things on your credit and pay one monthly bill he asked me did I know approximately the amount of my debt I told him about seven or 8000 so he proceeded to get my Social Security number and all my personal information and then told me that my debt was only $3800 and that they couldn’t help me because it wasn’t $10,000 or more he didn’t tell me that before he ran my credit or I never would’ve moved forward when I requested a supervisor he indicated that they were in a meeting which I kind of find it hard to believe to be in a meeting at 7 o’clock at night I need this report it they have my personal information and I also need someone to get in contact with me as soon as possible thank you
