I contacted A-Z Garage doors after my garage came off the tracks and did not close properly. The eep stated that someone would arrive between 4:30-6:30 to my home. Shortly afterwards someone named Mike called and stated he would be there shortly. He and another man presented to my home. Mike immediately told me I needed new springs and the repair would cost at least 2200.00. He then acted as if I called someone and quoted 850.00. I became suspicious and called a family member who stated he would make contact with the installer. I told Mike that I would only like to have the door placed on the track. This was a simple service. It was about 10 mins. Mike charged me 350.00 with a 100.00 service fee. I check my phone for the recent to find I was charged almost 495.00 for the total service. Mike also attempted to not have me in the work area which I thought was odd. The company is one of the 1st companies that show when looking for garage door repairs. I knew it was too much but I was alone and a woman.
